a landmark in the center of Main Street that creates a visual
destination. This element should be seen from either end of
the street and bridge the two portions of Main Street. This
element could be a gathering space with flagpoles or a pocket
park and which may also be connected to a walking park throughout
the downtown. A proposed park, Town Common, along Main Street
and near the Early Bird Café for a cost of $65,400 with a 15.0%
contingency fee to total $75,200 (rounded). This does not include
potential site acquisition and demolition costs.(11)
